Yay! This picture was created with Photoshop and Apophysis. The dragon is made of two linear fractals, the girl is made with three linear fractals, and the background is a Julia fractal.

This a submission for a children's story written by Sandra Taylor. Here's the relevent snippet:

"On Monday Amy climed to the very top of the jungle gym and was jumping up and down to fly like a dragon. The school Yard Duty called to her to come down for heaven's sake."

I've been going back through my faves and have seen some really great images that are a "collage" of Apo flames and am thinking of trying one. :). This image is really one of the coolest "manipulations" I've seen.

About eight hours, more or less. Four to put together the fractals and four to photoshop them.
